One of the classic, yet basic, quiz shows of the 70's. Presented by Nicholas Parsons to whom The Goodies constantly referred to.

This is classic nostalgia. According to TV Cream, this was Tony Robinson (Balderick) and it had stupid little men everywhere on an island intent on pronouncing words correctly. The Say Birds. I remember having an execise book to fill in at school after each programme. Did anyone else have this book?

Scooby Doo 1970 
A brilliant cartoon with an impossible-to-get mystery, because you never saw the clues until the end. The only failure of this cartoon, was introducing the annoying Scrappy. The original was by far the best. Watching Shaggy bribing Scooby with Scooby Snacks and Shaggy shouting ZIKES!!! were timeless classics. One worrying issue though. Why was Fred always so keen to split up from Shaggy and Scooby ? Lets face it Velma (long orange socks and a red mini-skirt) and Daphne (not my type) were no oil paintings.

I don't Know a lot about this cartoon except it seemed very closely related to the more popular Captain Pugwash.

Sooty, Sweep, Sue and the Corbett family made this a puppet classic. Sooty was all water pistols and "Izzy whizzy, lets get busy", Sweep was obsessed with sausages and bones and Sue the panda (a bird for Sooty) fussed the two of them. Some of you may remember a fierce dog called Butch making appearances every so often. Later Harry Corbert handed the show to his son Matthew (who first appeared on Rainbow's Rod, Jane and Matthew.)
